Eugene Morillo
Council member for Curaçao

Eugene Morillo has been appointed a member of the Law Enforcement Council effective August 25, 2023.
He completed law school at the University of the Netherlands Antilles (now UOC) in the year 1996. Mr. Morillo has more than 30 years of experience in the civil service. He worked at the Court of Guardianship (1992-1996), the Department of Economic Affairs (1996-1997), the Department of Legal Affairs (1997-2010) and Legislation and Legal Affairs of the Country of Curaçao (2010-2012).
From 1997-2010, he held various managerial positions at the Legal Affairs Department of the Island Territory of Curaçao. From the year 2007 he was head of service of the Legal Affairs Department and in the period 2010-2012 he was director of Legislation and Legal Affairs of the Land Curaçao.
In the period 2012-2022 he was the Secretary/chief inspector at the Curaçao Law Enforcement Council. Currently, Mr. Morillo is the director of Morillo Law B.V.
