This report by the Law Enforcement Council follows up on the recommendations made in a previous 2014 report concerning the Probation Service Caribbean Netherlands (SRCN). The Council reviews the progress made in implementing the recommendations related to training, professionalism, procedures, organization, and safety. The report acknowledges that while significant strides have been made in many areas, the development and implementation of a methodological foundation for probation work require further investment and time. The report concludes that additional time is needed to fully assess the quality of probation work and plans a more in-depth review in 2018.
