2020 — Review inspection into the admission and expulsion of foreign nationals in St. Maarten, focusing on applications related to the performance of work.

This report reviews the implementation of recommendations made in a 2014 report on the admission and expulsion of foreign nationals in St. Maarten. Out of six recommendations, only one was fully implemented, one partially implemented, and four were not addressed. The recommendations covered areas such as improving the registration and tracking system for immigration cases, formalizing and publishing policies, and enhancing staff knowledge on document verification.
