2019 — Criminal seizure in St. Maarten. A follow-up inspection.

The findings indicate that of the seven original recommendations, three were fully implemented, while four were partially implemented. The report highlights ongoing issues such as the need for better storage solutions for seized items, improved coordination between the police and the Public Prosecutor's Office, and the establishment of clearer procedures for the management of seized goods. The Council urges the Ministry of Justice to prioritize the recommendations not yet implemented and enhance efforts to streamline seizure processes and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
