2017 — Review of the Curaçao penitentiary institution

This report concerns a review investigation into inspections that the Council carried out in 2016 and 2017 into the state of affairs in the penitentiary of Curaçao (SDKK). The Council made a total of 27 recommendations based on its findings in those studies. This review shows that the majority of these recommendations have not been followed. Nor is there a plan to structurally implement the recommendations.
