2015 — Review of juvenile probation in Curaçao

This Inspection Report examines the implementation of the recommendations in the juvenile probation service in Curaçao. In this inspection report, the Council notes that considerable efforts have been made to implement the recommendations for the juvenile probation service in Curaçao. The Ministry of Justice has followed up on most of the recommendations, but four recommendations have been partially or not implemented. The AJJC Foundation, operational since 2014, has adopted and implemented the recommendations regarding the Guardianship Council. The Public Prosecution Service worked together with the AJJC on the implementation. The Council hopes that the remaining recommendations will soon be fully implemented.
