2013 — Review of the reporting process in Curaçao

This inspection report concerns how the Public Prosecution Service (OM) and the Curaçao Police Force (KPC) have addressed the recommendations made by the Council following the inspection of the reporting process (May 2012). Of the 14 recommendations made to the KPC, 3 have been partially implemented. Of the 2 recommendations made to the OM, the first recommendation has been followed. The OM plans to implement the second recommendation in the short term. The Council finds that the KPC has not sufficiently acted on the recommendations from May 2012 within the two-year timeframe. The Council is satisfied with the actions taken by the OM but hopes that the second recommendation will also be implemented in the near future.
