2024 — Youth detention in the Caribbean Netherlands.

This report pertains to a review of three 2015 recommendations by the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CPT) regarding the detention of juveniles and young adults in the Caribbean Netherlands (CN). The Council concludes positively on the current manner in which the Judicial Institution Caribbean Netherlands (JICN) provides for the detention of juveniles and young adults.
