2022 — Immigration Policy and the Approach to Human Trafficking and Smuggling in the Caribbean Netherlands.

This report is a follow-up investigation on the recommendations from previous reports (2017 and 2019) regarding immigration policy and the approach to human trafficking and smuggling in the Caribbean Netherlands. While some improvements have been made, especially in terms of information exchange and coordination, significant challenges remain. Human trafficking and smuggling continue to lack comprehensive visibility, and organizations are under-resourced to fully address the issues. More structured efforts and better collaboration are needed.
